Chelsea Nevius is the founder and broker of Chelsea & Company Realty, a Central Florida boutique brokerage built on clarity, advocacy, and client protection. With more than 40 years in real estate, she brings a calm, solutions-focused approach to helping clients navigate decisions — including the complicated ones.
Chelsea’s education reflects the same broad perspective she brings to real estate. She began her college studies in business at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee early in her real estate career, later returning to complete that degree. She then continued her education at the University of Central Florida, earning a B.A. in Legal Studies after decades of hands-on experience in the real estate industry.
By the time Chelsea studied Legal Studies at UCF, she had already spent decades working with real estate contracts, negotiations, closings, short sales and complex transactions.
Her education added a formal legal foundation to years of practical experience — a combination that continues to shape how she evaluates issues, explains options and advocates for her clients today.
You’ll understand what’s happening, why it matters, and what your options are — without the jargon or unnecessary confusion.
After more than 40 years in real estate, Chelsea knows where transactions can go sideways. She looks ahead, asks questions, and works to address issues before they become bigger ones.
From negotiations to inspections, contracts and closing, Chelsea keeps your interests at the center of the conversation and isn’t afraid to have the difficult conversations when necessary.
Sometimes the right answer is move forward. Sometimes it’s renegotiate. And sometimes it’s walk away. You’ll get Chelsea’s perspective — and the space to make the decision that’s right for you.
You won’t have to wonder what Chelsea thinks. She believes informed clients make better decisions, and that means communicating clearly, candidly and consistently.
Real estate has been Chelsea’s professional world her entire adult life. She began her career in Wisconsin in 1983, and over the four decades since, her work has touched nearly every side of residential real estate. What began as a career became a business, a lifelong profession, and ultimately the foundation for Chelsea & Company Realty.
But while real estate has shaped Chelsea’s professional life, it isn’t what defines her personally. Central Florida has been home for over 25 years, where she and her husband, Jeff, raised their family and became deeply rooted in the community.
Giving back has always mattered to Chelsea. She has a particular soft spot for dogs and has been involved in rescue efforts for many years, helping animals find the safe homes and second chances they deserve. She also maintains a limited number of pro bono real estate consulting opportunities for renters who need professional guidance but may not otherwise have access to it.
Away from work, Chelsea’s favorite role is simply being with her family — Jeff, their adult children and spouses, and their grandchildren. Those relationships, along with decades spent serving clients and being part of the Central Florida community, have shaped the way she approaches her work: personally, responsibly, and always mindful that behind every property, contract, and closing is a real person making a real-life decision.

Whether you’re buying, selling, facing a complicated real estate situation, or simply trying to figure out what comes next, it starts with a conversation.
Chelsea will listen first, help you understand your options, and give you the benefit of more than 40 years of experience and perspective. You’ll get straightforward answers and thoughtful guidance — then the space to make the decision that makes sense for you.
